17th Dam Gathering of the
(Shasta Lake California)
2010
Also Journey to & from Gathering
On our Journey to the gathering we encountered a lot of bad weather with real high winds that
started about 50 miles north of Reno & continued until we we're about 15 miles south of Reno.
There we're a few semi's & trailers that we're blown over just south of Reno & at times wind was
blowing so hard we could not see any further then 20 feet in front of our vehicle it was like a sand
blaster.(It did do a little of damage to the front of my TD paint)
After the wind died down the rain begin to come down like Cats & Dogs & it also turned to hail a few
times & if the temperature would of dropped a couple more degree's it would have turned to snow.
The weather did clear up about 50 miles south of Redding Ca.
Well we made it to Antler RV Camp at Shasta Lake.
Hear Sweety's checking out the Lake I got my tarps wright up We did get a little hail
Our first meal at the Dam. Jan & Sweety are ready for a fire. Sweety is enjoying the camp fire.
Making a privacy area. Well it looks like sweety is set for the day. A few early birds visiting.

I found a nice waffle iron at an antique store. Doug is checking in Kevin's cast iron bible to see if I made a good deal.
It is a #9 a little bigger then most.
