THE BUILD
CONTINUES

Here I am starting to
build my galley
cupboards.

Here I am getting
ready to frame in
where the air
conditioner is going
to go.

A little wood putty
and you will never
even know that I
changed my door
design.

A little more progress
on the galley area.

Here I'm installing a heavy
duty long slide drawer
slider, it's a little longer
then the cupboard so I
notched out the wall stud.

Here I have done a
little painting.

The drawers are all
installed.

And this is why I notched
the wall stud so that I could use
the heavy duty drawer runner.
You can see how far it opens.

I also installed a piece of wood
above the drawers.
(It makes a good pad for ideas)
I also sat the stove in its slot to
make sure that it fits.
(Fits great)

Now I am starting to build my
cabin & galley upper cupboards.

Here is another view.

Here I installed some trim.

Here I nailed some wood
on top.

I had a little extra linoleum
so I glued it on.

Hey is that rain on my driveway,
It never rains in Vegas.
I'm glad my new awning is up.
Well I went down and picked up
painted the top piece of my stove.
(I like it I can not wait to paint it
all and do a couple of other things
to it, it will not even look like the
same stove when I'm done with it.)

Now I am framing up the
front of the trailer for the air
conditioner and the window.

Perfect fit.

Here is a inside view.

Here I have covered
the studs with some
wood.

Here I have done a
little more painting.

FRP sheeting then I
routed out the window
and air conditioner openings.

Here is another outer view.

Now I am starting to frame up the
front of the trailer.

Well I thought that
I would hook it  up
to my car.

The front is starting to look
like I am finally making
some progress.
Here I am prepping for more
painting.

Like I was saying, painting again.

Here I am framing in
where the roof vent
and fan combination
will be.
Here I am trying to
put up my interior
ceiling, it was a little
tricky trying to do
it by myself.
Oppsss! I made a boo boo.
Notice the piece of wood that I
have on the floor to protect it.
I forgot to remove it before I
framed in the front, Well I'll just
have to use the skill saw to
remove it.
I bought this commercial coffee
warming dispenser, with a little
modifications I think I can use this
for my drinking water.

Here I have installed some
vertical columns.
And I also built a shelf which
will eventually turn into
cupboards.

And then I pulled out the
paint again.

Here I installed a nice chrome
bar, which will come in handy.
(I put one on both sides of the TD)

This is a steam table pan I picked
up at a kitchen supply store,
I plan on making a sink out of it.

Here I am  cutting a hole in my
counter top for my future sink.
(Well there go's my drawing board)
P.S. I copied everything down.

The pan fits perfect, I also picked
up a faucet (It is a reverse
osmosis faucet.)

Here is my drinking water tank
after I removed the label and took
my die grinder with a sanding disc
on it
Here is the drain
that I will install in
the bottom of the
steamer pan.

Here I am making the
hole for the drain

Here I have cut out a piece
of wood for the upper shelf
in the  front of my TD and I also
Here I used the router
to make the hole in the
FRP the same as the hole
in the wood.

Here I have made some cupboard
doors for my lower cupboards.

Now I am running
some more electrical
and speaker wires.
(Wiring is always so much fun)
HA! HA!

Here is another picture
of the sink.

Here I have capped of the upper
shelf and have begun to build my
compartment dividers.

Now i am cutting up some FRP to
cap of the sides of my shelf
dividers.
Here I am making sure
that my radius cuts
fit.
They fit like a glove.

And a little more painting.

Now I am building
a shelf and a place
for some electrical
stuff and my stereo.

My trowel would not fit into my
upper shelf to lay down my glue,
So I made me something so I could
spread the glue and lay down
some FRP on the upper shelf.

Here I have put some
trim around the front
area and painted ti
black, and I also have
puttied all of the nail
holes so all I have to
do is sand and then

I decided to pay the
piper and I purchased
a reversible and multi
speed fan vent combo.

Now I have started to
frame in the cupboards
in the rear cabin area.

Here is a view from the
back.

Now I am framing in
some future drawers
in the rear galley area.

Here I cut a couple of
pieces of material for the
divider wall and for on top
of the future galley drawers.
Well I have made another
change, I have decided to
put drawers in the cabin
area.

Here I have cut and put in some
insulation and have also nailed
in the trim around the future
cupboards and drawers.

Here you can see that I have
installed the white FRP above
the future galley upper drawers.

Here I have painted the trim on the
face of the cupboards and drawers
and I also started to install some
small black trim inside of the
cupboards.

Here I have cut out some of
my drawer face pieces and
some of my cupboard doors
and also painted them.

Here I am starting to
build some of my
drawers.

Here I have put handles
on and hung the two front
cupboard doors.

And I also hung two more
in the cabin area

Here I have insulated the roof,
And I marked and predrilled some
holes for the chrome pieces that I
intend to use for a rack.

Here is a view showing
the front that was also
insulated.

Now I am starting to skin
the roof.

Another view.

And here is another view.

Two drawers have been built
and the faces and handles
have been installed.

You can see I have cut out
the window and A/C holes.

I also attached the drawer
faces and the cupboard
door in the galley area.

Picked up my aluminum and
stainless steel so now I will
start to put the outer skin on
real soon.
(Hopefully it will be on in 2 days)

Here I am framing in some
cupboards and future shelves
above the drawers above the
stove.

I trimmed some of the aluminum
for the roof.
I did not want to stop but it was
getting late and I definitely did not
want to make any mistakes it
could be very costly, so I will get
wright back to it in the morning.

Here I have started
to put my outer
skin on.

Here I temporarily mounted
half of my hinge.

Now I am prepping my door
to permanently install it.

Here the door has been sealed
and screwed in, I also temporarily
attached my rear galley door
seal.
Here I have mounted my
window, And have screwed
on my trim.
I will remove all of the trim
shortly now that it is molded
and cut to the correct size
so that I can apply some
sealer under of the trim.

I also started to mount the
supports for the rack that I
will be putting on shortly.
I also attached a couple of
boat cleats that will be used
for tie down points, I still
have a few more that I will
attach latter.

Here I started to attach
my side running lights.
