THE BUILDING resumes.
Well back to work.

Here I laid the my wood down and
took some measurements of the
angle iorn piece I welded to the
frame in which holds the axle and
spring setup , Then I marked my
plywood.

Then I took my router and put a
striaght flute router bit in my router
and set the depth of bit so the bit
would go just a hair deeper than
the thickness of the angle iorn,
Then I fired up my router and cut
the area I had marked out.

(I would suggest if you buy a router
make sure you buy a heavy duty
one 2hp or bigger, just a suggestion)

Then I cut a couple pieces of
tubing and a piece of steel plate
then I welded them up, I also
bolted the tubing to frame just for
a little extra piece of mind, I since
this was going to be my spare tire
holder.
I also drilled a hole in the plate and
put a heavy duty bolt in the hole
and welded it.

Before welding the bolt in place I
put two nuts on the bolt and drilled
a hole threw the thread.
This hole would be used for a
retainer pin to keep the wing nut
from loosening up.

I also cut another piece of plate
that will go over the bolt after the
tire is in place.

Then I glued and nailed a piece
of 1/4" laminate with white on one
side.
I let the glue dry for a couple of
days, Then I used my router to
cut my radius's.

Then I put the walls where they
were going to be, Then  I clamped them
in place, And where the bolt holes
were that connect the frame together
I marked the wood and then
I removed the wood and drilled
the holes out that I marked.
Then I clamped my sides back
into the proper position and put
some longer new bolts in with
washers and then I tightened
them up.

Then behind the scenes I glued
my linoleum down and sat my
floor into place.(sorry no photo)

Then I started to put my roof
and front wall trusses in place

I used a counter sink drill bit
to drill all of my exterior holes
and used outdoor screws.

And I wood puttied and sanded
all of them.

Then I figured out how many
trusses I was going to need
then I precut them all.

Most people use 1"X 2" pieces
of wood for their trusses.

Not me I wanted all of the strength
I could get since a lot of the time
when we go camping we tend to
get in some bumpy areas.

So I used 2"X 2"s and 2"X 3" for
my trusses.
(Overkill ? I do not think so)

"GREAT"
My windows showed up.
My plan is to make doors out of
them.

So then I cut out the holes
for my doors.
I used my jigsaw it did a good job.
Well it is time to Trailer
to page 4 see you there.
