to construct my all in one Table and Dutch Oven equipment rack for my black VegasTeardrop.
First I guess I should show a picture of my Dutch Oven rack & Table combo.
I had a couple of rack shelves like the ones shown here kicking around the garage so I thought they would go real good with the polished stainless steel on my black VegasTeardrop, So I started thinking how I could make the rack into a table.
Well here is what I ended up doing, I drilled holes to accommodate a 1/4" bolt to secure the legs.
And here is what I decided to use for my legs (Cargo Bar) I did have to modify the bar by removing the swivel feet from both ends & then I figured the length that I needed allowing me to extend the leg to a longer length if needed(you never know how the terrain may be), I also drilled all of the adjustment holes all of the way through so I could raise my legs up higher if needed.(NOTE be sure to make both legs exactly alike.)Also note that I put the swivel foot pad back on.
^^^^^^^^^ You could also use some pins like the ones above to make setup & break down a little quicker.
This is the type of S hooks that we use to hang our pots & pans. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ These coat or towel hooks are similar to the ones that I used to hang my table. I was going to use a RV type table mounting bracket but I did not like the way it looked when the table was not in use.
I also liked that when the table/rack is placed on the hooks the hooks keep the table from touching the side of the Teardrop so I do not need to worry about my TD being scratched. Picture below.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The weight of the Table & Dutch Oven stuff holds the table down real good.
